DAF 66 1300 Marathon Coupe 1975 fully restored

This beautiful Marathon Coupe from the Dutch company DAF was delivered new in 1975 and fully restored in detail at 2020. The Marathon is the faster and more sportier version of the brand and was recognizable by the special rims, striping and the more powered engine. This coupe is also equipped with world famous fully automatic Variomatic transmission.

The exterior is painted in the original Terrana. In this peanut butter brown paint color, this DAF was delivered new in this color and has now been fully restored. Furthermore, the car is equipped with the original Marathon rims and striping.

The interior has the comfortable nunnery chairs (because of the head rests) which are newly upholstered. Also the rear seat has also been fitted with new fabric. The dashboard is equipped with a wood look and a very cool instrument cluster. The interior feels like new again after the restoration.

Technically, this DAF has an original 1,298cc 4-cylinder engine with 57 hp. The motor is linked to the well-shifting Variomatic drive. This fully automatic transmission is belt driven. After the restoration, the car has driven only 450 km.
