Land Rover Series 3 88 Softtop Fully restored 1972 petrol

Restored and completely revised in detail! The previous enthusiast has completely restored the Land Rover. This Series 3 was delivered new in 1972 and was completely optically restored in 2019 by a Dutch company. Technically the Land-Rover seemed to be in good condition, but there were still areas for improvement. The entire drivetrain was therefore renewed in 2023 and no savings were made.

The exterior was painted in the original Keswick Green. This looks great, especially in combination with the large tires and black accents. The impressive appearance is further equipped with a new soft top that can be opened on all sides. A convertible in many ways.

The interior has the classic and correct Series dashboard which works properly. The dashboard has new leatherette and looks sleek. There are three seats with black leather in the front. In the back there are two benches and a wooden floor for finishing. This floor was installed by a real enthusiast and this is evident from the sleekness of the whole. A modern music system has been installed for comfort, making the rides even more pleasant.

The drivetrain was completely overhauled/renewed in 2023. Below this text you will find the complete list of innovations. This Land-Rover is equipped with the original and completely overhauled 2,250cc engine with approximately 70 hp. Equipped with a new Weber 34 ICH carburetor. In addition, the clutch and pressure group have also been completely renewed and a Revotec cooling set has been installed for extra cooling. The engine is linked to the 4-speed manual gearbox. This has also been completely overhauled by a specialist and upgraded to a SUFFIX D. Thanks to all these details, the Series drives great. The rear axle differential has also been overhauled and runs without noise.
