Naturally there are a few light signs of use consistent with a well cared for classic. The Opalescent Dark Green paint retains a deep glossy finish and is beautifully complemented by the extensive chrome trim. The wire wheels are in near new condition and complete the timeless appearance of this iconic Jaguar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe interior is trimmed in elegant green leather and has been exceptionally well preserved. The comfortable seats show very little wear reflecting the care this car has received throughout its life. The dashboard is finished in beautiful wood veneer and fitted with the classic Jaguar instruments that perfectly capture the luxurious and sporting atmosphere of the E Type. Around 2010 the engine was comprehensively rebuilt including new main bearings connecting rod bearings camshaft bearings and the installation of a 123 Ignition electronic ignition system. The automatic gearbox was also fully rebuilt during the same period resulting in exceptionally smooth performance.
