The previous owner spared no expense in bringing this classic Land Rover back to top condition. The bodywork was completely restored by a Dutch restoration specialist in 2019. In 2023 the entire drivetrain was rebuilt and renewed making this Series 3 mechanically outstanding.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe exterior is finished in the original Keswick Green paintwork which perfectly complements the large off road tyres and black exterior details. The result is a striking and authentic appearance. The new soft top can be opened on all sides allowing you to enjoy open air driving in several different configurations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe interior remains faithful to the original Series 3 design. The classic dashboard has been retrimmed with new skai upholstery and presents beautifully. Three comfortable front seats are upholstered in black while the rear features two traditional bench seats and a beautifully crafted wooden load floor finished to a very high standard. A modern audio system has been discreetly installed providing additional comfort during longer journeys.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMechanically this Land Rover has benefited from an extensive rebuild. The original 2250 cc petrol engine producing approximately 70 horsepower has been fully rebuilt and fitted with a new Weber 34 ICH carburettor. The clutch and pressure plate have also been replaced while a Revotec cooling system provides improved engine cooling. The four speed manual gearbox has been professionally rebuilt and upgraded to the desirable Suffix D specification. In addition the rear axle and differential have both been completely rebuilt.
