Peugeot 505 GL 1985 fully original a true timecapsule!

The type of Peugeot that was first seen a lot and has now completely disappeared from the streets. This 505 was delivered new in the Netherlands in 1985 and has driven only 179.000 km. This example has been put away for a while and now we have started it up again and equipped it with a new Dutch MOT!

The exterior of this 505GL is finished in green metallic and the very recognizable front! The paintwork is completely original and there are certainly signs of wear of patina on the car. There is a small spot under the front window, which we have been edited and can last for years. The exterior is further equipped with a few chrome details, which makes the appearance a lot more chic!

The interior represents French comfort. Very solid and comfortable seats in fabric upholstery. The interior is also completely original and has the second type of dashboard. The dashboard is in good condition and top of the dashboard is untouched by the sun. No cracks, just the really 80s dashboard from Peugeot.

Technically, the Peugeot has the original 1.971cc (2.0) engine with 107 hp. Linked to the manual gearbox. Both work well and are a joy to drive. After quite some time standing still, we equipped the 505 with a new MOT, new brakes all around, carburettor overhauled and adjusted. The engine reacts very strictly and goes very smoothly with the current traffic.
