This rare first-series DAF 33 could be exactly what you are looking for. Built in 1969, it can easily be recognised by its distinctive side trim and elegant early design.

After being stored for more than 30 years, this DAF has recently been brought back to life. It is powered by its original 746 cc two-cylinder boxer engine, producing 32 horsepower. The engine runs well and has been serviced with fresh oil, the ignition has been adjusted and the contact breaker points have been replaced.

The revolutionary DAF Variomatic transmission also performs well, operates quietly and provides a smooth driving experience.

At present, the wheels turn freely, but the car has no functioning brakes. The braking system will require refurbishment or replacement by the new owner before the car can be driven on the road.

Although the bodywork shows signs of age, use and several areas of rust, the interior has survived remarkably well and remains in highly original condition. The headlining is exceptionally clean, tight and virtually undamaged. The correct first-series seats are in excellent condition with no tears, and the original black vinyl upholstery presents beautifully. The dashboard, complete with its original twin instruments, is fully functional and in very good condition.
