DAF 66 VAN 1975 factory original delivery van - ultra rare 6634 Variomatic

A stunning Jaguar E-Type, a rare Bentley, or perhaps a beautifully restored Mercedes-Benz... Those are not quite our style.

Instead, we chose something even more unique: a DAF 66 Van. In fact, it's rarer than the average Ferrari.

Only a handful of these van versions were ever produced. The van model (Type 6634) was based on the DAF 66 Estate (Station Wagon), but featured a flat load floor, a raised steel partition behind the front seats, and was originally supplied with a Dutch grey commercial registration.

This particular example remains in completely original condition. Over the years, the paint has naturally faded into no fewer than eight different shades of green, giving it a unique character. Despite its weathered appearance, it runs and drives perfectly.

We have always used this DAF exactly as intended: as a practical work vehicle, but with just a little extra care and appreciation.

From the outside, it looks like a regular estate, but inside you'll find the original low steel cargo partition and wooden load floor. Everything is original, except for the front grille with twin auxiliary driving lights, the period "nun's headrest" seats, and the Marathon wheels. Originally, this was a much more basic commercial model.

After ten wonderful years, it is time to say goodbye. The van has been sold to a dedicated collector, where it will be well cared for. During the past decade it served as both our promotional vehicle and company van—it was driven, enjoyed, and put to work rather than hidden away.
