Morris Minor 1000 Traveller Series V LHD highly original

Deep Bronze Green says it all. This charming Morris Minor 1000 Traveller was originally delivered in 1970 to a British military base in Germany. It is an original left hand drive example built to European specifications. Since 1977 this delightful estate has been in the Netherlands and has had only three owners.

The exterior is finished in the beautiful original Deep Bronze Green paint. The paintwork is in tidy used condition with normal signs of use and is still largely original. The chrome trim and the iconic wooden body frame are both in very good condition giving this Traveller its unmistakable classic appearance.

The interior has also been beautifully preserved. The seats are upholstered in black skai and remain in excellent condition. The dashboard is painted in matching Deep Bronze Green and still carries the original markings from the British military base a unique detail that highlights the car's fascinating history. The large centrally mounted speedometer is calibrated in kilometres reflecting its original European specification. The rear seat is equally well preserved.

The original 1097 cc four cylinder engine produces 45 horsepower and runs beautifully. The car has recently received extensive maintenance including a thorough inspection of the braking system with components replaced where necessary. Much of the maintenance has been carried out by Avelingen Restorations in Gorinchem. The four speed manual gearbox shifts smoothly and the Morris delivers a wonderfully enjoyable driving experience.

A comprehensive history file accompanies the car providing an excellent record of its past. The Morris has also been professionally valued at 19500 euros.
