DAF 66 Marathon 1300 Variomatic Barn Find Project 1974
After spending more than 30 years stored in an attic, this beautiful and highly original DAF 66 Marathon has been rediscovered. The Marathon was the sporty version of the DAF range and is highly sought after by enthusiasts. This saloon version is particularly rare, as most Marathon models were produced as coupes and those examples have been preserved more frequently.
The exterior remains in original condition and is finished in Kobina off white. It features the original Marathon alloy wheels and the distinctive factory racing stripe, giving the car its unmistakable sporty appearance.
The interior is wonderfully original. It features the wood effect dashboard with the original sports steering wheel, the extremely rare full centre console with the original VDO DAF gauges and the iconic sporty bucket seats, affectionately known in the Netherlands as the "Nun's Cap" seats.

The car is equipped with its original 1,299 cc Marathon four cylinder engine producing 57 hp, paired with the famous Variomatic automatic transmission.
