This charming 1966 DAF Daffodil 32 Luxe is finished in its original Azula dark blue paint, preserving its authentic appearance. The exterior is enhanced with chrome bumpers, additional chrome wheel trims, and an original sun visor, giving the car a distinctive and elegant classic look.

Power comes from the reliable 746 cc air-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine producing 30 hp. The engine has recently received a comprehensive service, including an oil change, while the ignition and carburettor have been professionally adjusted. The famous Variomatic transmission has also been inspected and operates perfectly. Both the engine and transmission run remarkably quietly, making this Daffodil a pleasure to drive. The underside, as shown in the photos, is completely solid and free from rust. The rear wheel arches were cosmetically repaired in the past and are not finished to a high standard, but they remain rust-free. One of the sills has a hole that will require attention.

For the enthusiast looking for a mechanically excellent and honest classic DAF, this Daffodil 32 is an outstanding choice. With only minor cosmetic improvements, it could be made even more attractive. It is equally suitable for regular driving, although many would consider that almost a shame for such a charming and increasingly rare classic.
