A truly stunning and highly original 1986 Jaguar XJ-SC Targa. Originally delivered new in Switzerland, this beautiful Jaguar has been in the Netherlands for several years. The car remains in completely original and very good condition and comes with an extensive history file.
The original matching numbers V12 engine is paired with an automatic transmission and provides an exceptionally smooth and comfortable driving experience. Thanks to the comprehensive documentation, the mileage of 64,700 km is fully verifiable.
Exterior
This unique XJ-SC Targa is finished in British Racing Green with a distinctive silver pinstripe along the sides. The car retains its original factory paintwork, which is in very good condition, and is complemented by the original Jaguar alloy wheels.
The soft top and removable Targa roof panels are in almost unused condition.
Interior
The luxurious interior is finished in beautiful beige leather and shows virtually no signs of wear. The dashboard features elegant wood trim, complemented by a trip computer, beautiful chrome details and powerful air conditioning.
Recent Maintenance
The XJ-SC has recently undergone extensive maintenance. In addition to major servicing of the engine and transmission, all rubber hoses have been replaced, the brakes have been rebuilt and the complete air conditioning system has been replaced.
All of this work was carried out by Jaguar specialist Real Car Restorations.
The XJ-SC Targa is a particularly rare model, with very few examples produced and even fewer preserved in such original condition. This example is fully documented, technically in excellent condition and offers a unique combination of rarity, comfort and classic Jaguar character.
